Skins

March 10, 2011

Here is soft and pretty sketch on a drizzly wet day.

Winter keeps coming back! Today started off with giant fluffy snowflakes that have now turned into big piles of slush. Gross, though a good excuse to wear my rain boots and jump in puddles like a dork. Who doesn’t like doing that sometimes? I’m going to keep to myself and wait out the rest of tonight’s weather indoors.

Spring is literally twelve days away. Which means that my birthday is only thirteen days away. I just can’t help but ferociously look forward to both.

Anyway, stay warm.

Spring sweats

Spring 2011 layers of cotton jersey knit, tweed, bone and chiffon. Basics and menswear combined with feminine textures. And don’t forget that ‘wind burnt’ sweet skin.

This took two hours from start to finish. Often times, when I start a personal piece, it won’t get finished unless I complete it the same day. Image inspired by The Sartorialist.
